Our first blog post coincides with the release of v0.2 of the public beta! That reddit post includes all the important details of the changes we made for this version, and we still have a LOT of feedback to continue iterating with (currently 12 open tickets just for feedback changes).
One of the more technically difficult changes was the Depth of Field camera effect. While the effect in and of itself is trivial to implement with the Standard Assets package, it was a bit of journey to have it affect the UI as well as the entire scene (sans the player) since these were rendered with two separate cameras. At some point this weekend we’ll be doing a livestream tutorial of exactly how we did it!
